Having worked in the golf industry for over 16 years, Sam has a diverse range of experience earned during his time at House of Golf and most recently Glenelg Golf Club; widely regarded as one of the best Golf and Function Venues in all of Australia, boasting a string of awards to boot.
Sam spent his PGA Traineeship at Glenelg, and upon graduating went on to enjoy 5 years as Store Manager for House of Golf - the retailer who pride themselves on their brand heritage and reputation for quality, range and customer service - before returning to his roots, as Club Operations Manager at Glenelg Golf Club.
An active voice in the golf industry, Sam is currently serving as Vice-Chairman of the South Australia PGA Committee, having recently been appointed onto the PGA National Advisory Committee – Careers and Business. And also a member of General Mangers Australia, whilst also currently enrolled in the CMAA Course.
This experience, coupled with his passion for Leadership, Education, Sales & delivering Customer Service Excellence, will serve Sam well in his new role as General Manager of 59club Australia & New Zealand.
